The Human Resource Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping a future-ready organisation by designing inclusive, agile, and data-informed HR practices. This role is both strategic and operational, supporting the leadership team in workforce planning, culture building, and organisational development while ensuring the organisation remains an employer of choice in the social service sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Workforce Planning & Talent Development

  • Lead organisation-wide workforce planning aligned with long-term strategic goals.
  • Identify current and future skills gaps; implement strategies for upskilling and reskilling.
  • Design and implement career pathways and leadership development programmes.

2. Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

  • Drive initiatives to foster an inclusive, flexible, and psychologically safe work environment.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to listen and act on employee voice.
  • Champion wellness, mental health and hybrid work policies.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Ensure HR policies are updated, progressive, and compliant with Singapore’s employment laws.
  • Optimise HR systems and digital tools for efficiency and insight generation.

4. Change Management & Organisational Development

  • Support change initiatives by providing HR insights and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Facilitate organisation-wide learning, innovation, and adaptability.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, with 2+ years in a managerial or strategic HR role.
  • Strong understanding of modern workforce trends: hybrid work, digital tools and employee wellbeing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's employment laws and HR practices.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certified HR practitioner (e.g., SHRI, IHRP) is advantageous.
  • Experience with strategic workforce planning or HR digital transformation.

  • Passionate about community development and social equity.

2. Case Officer, Family & Youth

Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community? We're currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Case Officer. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with individuals and families from all walks of life, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive.

Job Description:

  • Case manage clients under the programmes/schemes run by Family & Youth department.
  • Conduct full range of services appropriate to the needs of the clients.
  • Maintain relevant documentation and programme statistics in accordance with the agency’s standards of practice.
  • Execute assigned programmes and projects.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with other organisations for the benefit of the clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Social Work/Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Preferably with 1 year of relevant working experience in a VWO set up.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with families, parents and youths.
  • Willingness to occasionally work on weekends or evenings as part of case management and/or to support department/organisational events.
  • Possess social perceptiveness and empathy.
  • Able to assess situations promptly and efficiently

RIMA

AMP offers internships to a select number of students each year. It is available all year with duration ranges from 3 to 6 months.

During their internship, students will be able to develop a number of transferable skills which will be of great benefit to their future careers. The students will be attached to the various departments within AMP.
