Case Officer, Family & Youth

Job Description:

  • Case manage clients under the programmes/schemes run by Family & Youth department.
  • Conduct full range of services appropriate to the needs of the clients.
  • Maintain relevant documentation and programme statistics in accordance with the agency’s standards of practice.
  • Execute assigned programmes and projects.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with other organisations for the benefit of the clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Social Work/Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Preferably with 1 year of relevant working experience in a VWO set up.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with families, parents and youths.
  • Willingness to occasionally work on weekends or evenings as part of case management and/or to support department/organisational events.
  • Possess social perceptiveness and empathy.
  • Able to assess situations promptly and efficiently.

Research Analyst, RIMA

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research, analyzing data, and generating insightful reports to support our clients' strategic initiatives. The Research Analyst will collaborate closely with our team members to deliver actionable recommendations and contribute to the success of our projects.

Job Description: 

  • Produce quality research on specific topic(s) assigned by the Board.
  • Analyse data and provide write-up.
  • Present complex information effectively to a range of audiences.
  • Oversee contents, editing and publishing of publications both in print and electronic media.
  • Draft proposals and provide links for research grants/funding and applications.
  • Review RIMA’s research output and make recommendations to the Board.
  • Publish article / opinion pieces on relevant issues affecting the Malay/ Muslim community.
  • Organise events and conduct fieldwork.
  • Establish network within the Malay establishments as well as the mainstream institutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Entry level candidates with a degree in social science or other relevant disciplines.
  • Knowledge of research techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience in organizing seminars and conferences.
  • Experience in editorial work and overseeing publications.
  • An added advantage if you are/have:
  • Proficient in English, Malay and another relevant language (in order to handle concerns and feedbacks from English, Malay and another relevant language speaking counterparts in regards with the contents, editing and publishing matters)
  • Strong networking capacity
  • Awareness and prior experience pertaining to the dynamic of the Malay Muslim community.

RIMA

AMP offers internships to a select number of students each year. It is available all year with duration ranges from 3 to 6 months.

During their internship, students will be able to develop a number of transferable skills which will be of great benefit to their future careers. The students will be attached to the various departments within AMP.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities:

Social Services Division

• Case management / counselling

• Event planning and projects

• Administration tasks

Corporate Services Division

• Content creation for social media

• Fund raising projects

• Volunteer recruitment and initiatives

• Front desk duties and administration work
