Mr Fathurrahman Dawoed is currently Executive Director of Andalus Corporation Pte Ltd. He has more than 15 years of experience in the Islamic education sector in Singapore, as well as volunteering in various Muslim organisations. He is also currently serving as a Member of the Singapore Fatwa Committee and Member of the Council of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). As a certified asatizah under MUIS’ Asatizah Recognition Scheme, he also teaches religious knowledge and has led several seminars and symposiums at different institutions such as Andalus, al-Zuhri, PERGAS, mosques and madrasahs. He obtained a Master of Arts degree in Humanities (Islamic Studies) from the University of Science, Malaysia in 2010, and a Master of Science degree in Asian Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at the Nanyang Technological University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in education at the National Institute of Education, Singapore.
